Copy your zPod RSS URL. That looks like https://rss.podfora.com/{slug}-{feedId}. rss.zpod.cc is a backup host and 301s to the matching rss.podfora.com URL. Prefer rss.podfora.com for directory submissions and new integrations.

How to Use This Pack

1. Complete the Universal Checklist for every show.
2. Open the per-host section that matches your current host and run those leave-host steps.
3. Complete Directory Updates. Use Studio Apple, Spotify, and YouTube checklists — do not duplicate those flows here.
4. Run Verification and Soak, then decommission the old host.

Inventory and export first. Create the show, then Settings → Advanced → Import From RSS. Verify GUIDs. 301 the old host. Update directories. Soak 3–4+ weeks. Decommission last. Do not delete early.

What Import Does

Studio Import (v1.26.0) is per-show. Create the show first.

1. Create the show first in Studio.
2. Open Settings → Advanced → Import From RSS.
3. Import copies episodes and per-episode artwork when present.
4. Episode GUIDs are preserved from the source when possible.
5. When valid, import also copies per-item JSON chapters and VTT or TXT transcript files (v1.24.0). Invalid, HTML, or SRT sidecars skip; the catalog still imports.
6. Import writes itunes:new-feed-url on the new zPod feed to your zPod RSS URL. That does not replace a 301 on the old host.

What You Still Do

Studio already ships assisted Apple, Spotify, and YouTube checklists. We do not submit to Apple or Spotify for you. This pack links those rows. It does not add extra submit buttons.

Per-Host Sections

Import and verify on zPod first. Then run the leave-host steps for the host you are leaving.

Core Hosts

• Buzzsprout — Settings → Podcast Settings → Redirect. One redirect per show. Keep the account at least three weeks.
• Libsyn — Settings → Redirects. Move content first. Libsyn-submitted Apple listings may need Apple Support, not a second submit.
• Megaphone / Spotify for Creators — Two products: Spotify for Creators (self-serve web redirect) vs Megaphone (admin + support, 48-hour notice). Import the ad-free feed if DAI was on.
• Spreaker — Dashboard → RSS Customization → Redirect Feed. UI labels vary. Keep the old feed several weeks.
• Captivate — Podcast Settings → Cancel Show → move / redirect path. Do not confuse this with deleting the whole account.
• Transistor — Show Settings → Permanent Redirect (301). Transistor states the 301 stays free after you cancel.
• Podbean — Settings → Feed → Advanced Feed Settings → Redirect to a New Feed.
• Simplecast — Distribution / Advanced Settings → RSS Feed Redirect. Reconfirm in-dashboard labels — official leave copy was bot-walled during research.
• Castos — Settings → Distribution → Danger Zone. SSP on WordPress is a second feed — use Redirection for a 301 that survives deactivating the plugin.
• Blubrry / PowerPress — Self-hosted PowerPress: Import and verify, then WordPress Redirection 301 from the old feed path (typically /feed/podcast/) to your zPod RSS URL. Blubrry.com-hosted feeds: email support@blubrry.com.

Other Hosts

• Squarespace — Pages → Feeds → Podcasting → Change Feed → Moving from Squarespace. Do not delete the blog page during soak.
• SoundCloud — Settings → Content → Subscriber redirect. Keep several weeks (about 45 days is a common cite).
• Acast — Disable dynamic ads first. Show Settings → Show redirection. Wait about two weeks before requesting deletion.
• RedCircle — Opt out of RAP and remove Audio Blocks first. ⋯ → Remove Podcast → Redirect Podcast. Do not permanently delete early.
• Omny Studio — Playlist → Details → Advanced Settings → Podcast RSS Permanent Redirect. Keep at least four weeks.
• RSS.com — Disable Copy Protection. Settings → Redirect → Activate. Keep 45–90 days. Not available on free trial or after cancel.
• Pinecast — Settings → Feed Redirect. Do not delete the podcast. Downgrade to free; redirects persist without paid membership.
• Podigee — Feeds / Redirects → New Feed URL in every format field (MP3, AAC, OGG, OPUS). Keep about one month.
• Whooshkaa — Edit → Redirect from Whooshkaa. If the account or UI is gone, treat as support-only.
• Other Hosts — Import, find 301 / new feed URL / leave, paste your zPod RSS URL, soak at least four weeks. Includes Feedburner, prefix services, and WordPress-hosted feeds.
