A 301 covers many apps. Still complete these portal updates — several ignore or lag redirects. Apple, Spotify, and YouTube reuse Studio Directories. This page does not repeat those claim steps.
Open the Studio Universal Checklist
In checklists, paste your zPod RSS URL. That looks like https://rss.podfora.com/{slug}-{feedId}.
Copy your zPod RSS URL. That looks like https://rss.podfora.com/{slug}-{feedId}. rss.zpod.cc is a backup host and 301s to the matching rss.podfora.com URL. Prefer rss.podfora.com for directory submissions and new integrations.
We do not submit to Apple or Spotify for you. Pretuned Apple submitfeed, claim token, Spotify, and YouTube RSS ingest already live on the Directories page.
Preferred path: old host 301 → Apple follows without Connect edits.
If you lost the old feed or have no 301: sign in to Apple Podcasts Connect, select the show, Edit RSS feed URL, enter your zPod RSS URL, save.
Claim / ownership uses Studio's Apple row (claim token, seven-day window, Clear). Do not invent a second claim form on this page.
Claiming fails for channels, Apple subscriptions, Apple-hosted audio, missing RSS, claim disabled, or unsupported hosts — contact Apple.
Confirm itunes:email receives Apple mail before submit or claim.
Never set itunes:new-feed-url to Apple's Mirror URL.
Maintain 301 plus new-feed-url at least four weeks.
Preserve GUIDs. Apple warns changes cause duplicates, bad analytics, and possible status impact.
Libsyn-submitted shows may need Apple Support ownership transfer. Do not create a second listing.

Change the RSS Feed URL How to Change Hosting Providers Claim Your Show Apple Podcasts Connect
Even when you do not host on Spotify, if the show is claimed in Creators: log in, select the podcast, open Settings, then Update the RSS feed link / hosting provider.
Enter your zPod RSS URL, confirm the hosting provider, and submit.
If you were hosting on Creators, finish the leave-301 steps on the Megaphone / Spotify for Creators host page first, then confirm Settings still show the zPod URL.

Updating an RSS Feed Link or Hosting Provider Switching Away With a 301
Google Podcasts is sunset. Do not plan a Google Podcasts Manager step. Audio RSS distribution is YouTube / YouTube Music via Studio RSS ingest (availability varies by country).
New connect: use Studio's YouTube checklist (YouTube Studio → Submit RSS Feed, verify the code emailed to the address in the RSS feed, pick the upload set, publish private-first videos, declare branded content).
Host change on an existing YouTube podcast: Podcast details → RSS settings → Disconnect, then Connect your zPod RSS URL and verify email again.
Prefer uploading only episodes after the latest already on YouTube to avoid duplicates.
Replacing audio requires Re-upload from RSS feed per episode. RSS audio edits do not auto-replace published videos.

Use Amazon Music for Podcasters. Claim the existing show or submit RSS. Verify via the feed email.
On host change: update RSS in the podcaster portal for the existing show. Do not create a second listing.

Host change: 301 is usually enough for existing followers. If the listing breaks, resubmit your zPod RSS URL (or Apple link).
Private feeds need itunes:block Yes and a direct RSS add. Members vs free feed metadata collisions can hide bonus episodes.
Overcast: follows RSS with strong 301 support. Rely on 301; share your zPod RSS URL if someone is stuck.
Castbox: 301, then submit or update RSS in Castbox creator tools if the listing is stale.
Podcast Addict: 301; resubmit your zPod RSS URL if needed.
Goodpods: 301; resubmit if the profile still shows the old host.
Podcast Guru, AntennaPod, Fountain, and other RSS-first clients: 301 is the main lever.
No universal change-host portal exists for most indie apps. Redirect reliability is the product.
