Podcast Settings → Cancel Show → move / redirect path. Do not confuse this with deleting the whole account.

Your zPod RSS URL

In checklists, paste your zPod RSS URL. That looks like https://rss.podfora.com/{slug}-{feedId}.

Copy your zPod RSS URL. That looks like https://rss.podfora.com/{slug}-{feedId}. rss.zpod.cc is a backup host and 301s to the matching rss.podfora.com URL. Prefer rss.podfora.com for directory submissions and new integrations.

Leave Captivate

Import on zPod first, then redirect. These are leave-host steps. Directory portal work lives on Directory Updates.

  1. 1. Import to zPod and verify.
  2. 2. In Captivate open Podcast Settings and scroll to Cancel Show.
  3. 3. Choose moving elsewhere / set up redirect.
  4. 4. Paste your zPod RSS URL, then Close Show and Add 301 Redirect (wording varies slightly by Captivate UI version).
  5. 5. Keep the old account about three weeks.

Pitfalls

  • The cancel-show flow is easy to confuse with full account deletion. Choose the move / redirect path.
  • If you are locked out, email Captivate support for a manual redirect.
