Switch to zPod

Moving hosts should not cost you subscribers. Import copies your show, keeps the identifiers apps rely on, and checks the result before you redirect the old feed.

Import From RSS

Paste your current feed URL. zPod copies the audio, show notes, and episode artwork, and keeps each episode's GUID and the show's podcast:guid.

More Than Audio

Valid JSON chapters, a soundbite, and WebVTT or plain-text transcripts come across with each episode. You can also copy hosts, credits, and the license from the source feed. The source feed's Value 4 Value recipients come across when this show has none yet.

Capped Feeds

Some hosts list only recent episodes. zPod warns when a feed looks capped, can read WordPress feed pages for the full backlog, and accepts an uploaded copy of the complete feed.

Check Against Source Feed

Before you redirect, zPod checks that every episode in the live source feed is here, published, with its audio.

Audio Gone at the Source

Episodes whose audio is already gone at the old host can be published as archive episodes on your website. They stay out of the RSS feed.

How It Works in Studio

  1. Create the show, then open Settings → Advanced → Import From RSS.
  2. Follow Settings → Advanced → Switch to zPod for the cutover checklist.
